Alejandro Romulo Masongsong

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of Alejandro Masongsong, a devoted husband, father, grandfather, and man of faith, who went home to be with the Lord on February 1, 2025 at 77 years old.

Born on February 27, 1947 in the Alejandro Masongsong was a pillar of his community and church, serving faithfully as a deacon at Our Lady of Assumption church. His unwavering faith, compassionate heart, and dedication to serving others left a lasting impact on all who knew him. Whether through his ministry, acts of kindness, or words of encouragement, he touched countless lives and exemplified Christ's love in all he did.

Alejandro Masongsong was a loving and devoted family man. He was the cherished husband of Leonora Masongsong, a proud father to Anthony and Anna Masongsong. He also leaves behind the Masongsong Nation. His love for his family was evident in every moment he spent with them, always leading by example with wisdom and kindness.

A celebration of his life will be held on February 15 at 9:30 am at St. Paschal Baylon church at 92 Steeles Avenue West. A visitation will take place on February 14 from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm at Kane - Jerrett Funeral home at 6191 Yonge Street. Interment will follow at Holy Cross Catholic Cemetery at 11:00 am; Section 18 Grave # 102 Range 9.

Though our hearts are heavy, we find comfort in knowing that Alejandro Masongsong has been welcomed into the arms of his Savior, where he will forever rejoice in glory. His legacy of faith, love, and service will continue to live on in those he touched.
