I was so sorry to hear the sad news about the passing of my old friend. I haven't seen Barry since I left Ontario back in the mid 90's but I have great memories of all the good times we shared.
Barry was a great guy who had a heart of gold and was always fun to be around. I'll never forget you old buddy but you finally get to be reunited with your Dad who I know you missed so much all your life.

My friend Barry Snow loved the great outdoors. Hunting and fishing. So many great times. This picture was taken up in Luther's Marsh. I will miss him and cherish the great times we had together. Rest easy brother.

I was sadden to learn of Barry’s passing. Gone way too young. My heartfelt condolences to all his family & friends. It’s been many years since I saw him but he would call from time to time to catch up and recall the times we hung out in jr and sr high. Lots of good memories. He would often talk about our good friend Barry Windsor who passed away many years ago as well. We also shared the hard memories of the motorcycle accident we were involved in. Life altering injuries we wish could have been avoided. The hardest memory of that time was learning his father passed away in a canoe accident. I had to drop over to see if it was true. I will never forget the pain in Barry’s face that day. Rest in peace my friend. You are now in the arms of your father.

Barry you’ve been a life long friend with a heart of gold and you will truly be missed . Sending my deepest sympathies to your family and friends. God Speed my Friend .

When we were kids Barry was one of the biggest kids in our parents’ friend group. He had his own snow mobile and that seemed so amazing to me. He was so grown up but he was kind in quiet ways to littler kids and dogs.  In seeing his posts I could see how those beautiful qualities stayed with him. I’m so sorry he has gone so soon. When his dad died it left a hole in my father’s life that was never filled. One of my last conversations with my dad was looking at photos of snow mobile and ice fishing adventures and Dad still felt the loss. I can imagine that many people close to Barry are feeling the same loss. I hope they can hold the memories close through the loss. You are all in my thoughts.

I look back with fond memories together with a larger circle of friends growing up in the east end of St. Johns and the handful that we all were. 

While I have not seen Barry since back in the day, and the early years in Toronto ....  I'm sure his sometimes larger than life personality, complemented with his love for family and friends, made for many great memories for all those who were around him through out his life.

Barry was a kind soul who cared for Laurie completely.  He had wonderful dreams for the future and a great sense of humour.
He enjoyed talking to everyone he met and counted them as his friends.  
He was taken too soon from us and we will miss him dearly.  Please know that our thoughts and prayers are with Barry, Laurie and all the family at the dreadful time. Rest in peace Barry.
