Bemo Abuyuan, 80, passed away on May 19, 2026. Born on July 19, 1945, Bemo will be remembered with deep gratitude and affection by the family and friends who had the privilege of sharing in his life. He lived in Vaughan, Ontario, where his presence and personality were well known to family and friends alike.
Bemo spent much of his career working in healthcare as a Medical Technologist, later managing others within his department. He took pride in his work, valued experience, and believed in doing things properly.
At the centre of Bemo’s life was his devotion to family. He is lovingly remembered by his wife, Noemi; his children, Cynthia, (her partner, Armando) and Edwin (his wife, Tamara); and his grandchildren, Tia and Nate. He also leaves a large extended family who will carry forward the warmth of his love.
Bemo enjoyed fishing, photography, and music. As a self-taught musician, he especially loved playing guitar and singing songs by Elvis Presley, Frank Sinatra, The Beatles, and other classic artists he admired. Music was often part of family gatherings, alongside laughter, conversation, and lively discussions about politics and world affairs.
