BENNETT, Daniel Cameron - 1931 - 2009 Born Edinburgh, Scotland, died Willowdale, ON., September 23, 2009. Stoically faced gastric cancer for three years. Devoted husband and loving caregiver of Jacqueline (Marinier). Proud father of Andrew and fiancee Valeria Chernikova, and John David. Will be sadly missed by his sister Cynthia (Archie) Macdonald, niece Denise (Billy) Wilson, nephew Ian Macdonald and families. Son-in-law of Marjorie Brandston. Missed by Alla Chernikova, Dale and Terry Smith, Jacqueline's many cousins, Rose Marinier and family, great pals at the Fitness Institute, especially Sid and Suely, and his workmates of 33 years at Toronto Hydro. Danny's love beyond his family included playing the trumpet, listening to jazz, telling jokes, traveling, and dining with Marvin and Lil Goldman, Mary and Henry Chu, Louise and the late Terry Godfrey. A quiet, caring and witty man, will be fondly remembered.
