Darwin Erazo Dela Cruz

With profound sadness and heavy hearts, we announce the passing of Darwin Erazo Dela Cruz, born on June 26, 1969, in Pulot Shore, Palawan, who peacefully passed away on September 15, 2026 and is now resting in the loving arms of the Lord.

Darwin was a beloved husband to Leny Castillo, a cherished colleague, coworker, and a true friend to many. Throughout his life, he was known for his kindness, generosity, humility, and his unwavering willingness to lend a helping hand. He was the kind of person who never hesitated to be there when someone needed him—whether in moments of difficulty, in times of uncertainty, or simply when a friend needed someone to listen.

To his family, Darwin was a person they could turn to—a loving presence who offered support, guidance, and care. His family knew his generous heart and his willingness to help whenever he was needed. He valued the people he loved and carried a deep sense of responsibility and affection for those closest to him.

His family will especially miss the everyday moments that once seemed ordinary but have now become precious memories—the conversations, laughter, shared experiences, familiar presence, and simple acts of love that made him an irreplaceable part of their lives.

He was always available, day or night, and many knew that they could count on Darwin. He gave his time freely, helped without expecting anything in return, and offered his support with a sincere heart. His generosity was not only in what he gave, but in the way he made people feel—seen, valued, supported, and never alone.

Darwin had a warm and gentle spirit that left a lasting impression on everyone who crossed his path. His presence brought comfort and familiarity, and his simple acts of kindness often meant more than words could express. He built friendships through trust, compassion, and genuine care, leaving behind memories that will remain in the hearts of those who had the privilege of knowing him.

As a husband, Darwin was loving, devoted, and dependable. His life with Leny was a testament to companionship, love, and the importance of being there for one another through life's joys and challenges. His love and presence will forever remain a treasured part of her heart and of the life they shared together.

As a colleague and friend, Darwin was someone people could rely on. He did not simply work alongside others—he became part of their lives. The bonds he formed went beyond the workplace, and his kindness created friendships that will continue even in his absence.

Though our hearts are filled with sorrow, we are also grateful for the years, memories, laughter, kindness, and love that Darwin shared with us. His passing leaves a space that cannot be filled, but his legacy will live on through the people he helped, the friendships he nurtured, the lives he touched, and the love he gave so generously.

We may no longer hear his voice, see his smile, or receive his familiar helping hand, but the goodness he showed to others will never be forgotten. Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street, Toronto, on September 25, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm, and again on September 28, 2026, from 10:00 am to 11:00 am.
