Diego LaLomia, born in Canicatti, Sicily on January 2, 1938, went to be with the Lord on December 29, 2025, at the age of 87. He was a longtime resident of North York Ontario and had most recently resided in Oshawa.
Beloved husband of Lotte Erna for 58 years.
Loving father of Lorenzo LaLomia (Anita), Christina van Schubert, (Tim), Daniel LaLomia and Monica Gibbs (Sam).
Diego will be fondly remembered by his grandchildren Carlina, (Andre), Diego, Nadia, Lilliana, Matteo, David, Charlotte, Lucas, Gianluca, Massimo, Zara, Kayla, & Isaac. Dear great grandfather of Esme.
Diego is survived by his sister Vincenza LaLomia.
Visitation will be held at the Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home (6191 Yonge St. south of Steeles Ave.) on Sunday January 4th, 2026 from 4:00 pm until 8:00 pm and again on Monday from 10am until time of the funeral service which will be held at Willowdale Christian Assembly Church (28 Martin Ross Ave. North York) at 11:00 am. Interment to take place at Westminster Cemetery, 5830 Bathurst St. Toronto.
