Born on August 7, 1932, in Skopia Nevoliany Greece, to the late father Ioanou Zolis and mother Stoiana Zolis, Dimitra carried the traditions and spirit of her homeland throughout her long and meaningful life. She is now reunited with her beloved husband, Dimitrios Tourianis, her cherished daughter, Faye Marinis, her sister, Anna Nolis and brother in law Alexander Nolis.
Dimitra was a woman of profound faith whose belief in God and Jesus Christ guided her every action. Her family was the center of her world; she was a devoted mother to her son John and daughter-in-law Kelly, and a proud, loving grandmother to Kylie and Haley.
Known for her mastery in the kitchen, Dimitra delighted her family with traditional Greek and Macedonian dishes. She found great joy in the simple pleasures of life: tending to her vegetable garden each year, crocheting beautiful pieces for her loved ones, and never missing an episode of Wheel of Fortune, Jeopardy!, and everyone loves Raymond. Her legacy of faith, hard work, and devotion to family will be forever remembered.
