Herb, Brian, Cheryl & Ron -
As I journey towards life's sunset
Mourning her who went before,
Faith assured me, I'll be with her
When I reach the other shore.

Dear Herb, Cheryl and Brian,
We have fond memories of Georgina and we know that she will be missed by all of you. She had a real zest for life, concern for others and a great love for her family. It is comforting to know that she is now in the arms of Jesus. Our prayers and thoughts are with you during this difficult time.

To Herb, Brian, Cheryl & Ron -
We often think of bygone days
When we were all together.
The family chain is broken now,
But memories will live forever,
To us, she has not gone away,
Nor has she travelled far,
Just entered God's eternal home
And left the gate ajar.

"Earth has no sorrow that heaven cannot heal" Crowder.

My fond memories of Georgina are her zest for life, her love for people including her family, her sensitivity to the sufferings of humanity and of course her beautiful smile. She was a classy lady!

She would get dress in the mornings and ask" where are we going?" She was raring to live life that day. When we did go to the mall, very little shopping would be done. She would spend her time, hours, engaging people in conversation and stopping the mothers, with their babies and children to admire them, much to the delight of the mothers.

She would cry when she watched TV and saw suffering and would often say "we have so much and people are starving." She was always concerned about whether her hairdresser Sal was making enough money seeing, as she thought, that was his only means of income.

Her desire to serve and her love for people and her beloved Herb extended to the people she encountered at the DAY Center she attended in the latter years of her life. She always thought she was going to work when she attended and of course she was the life of the party there.

I sadly miss Georgina; However now she is with Jesus enjoying the joys of His presence.

We are so sorry to hear of your loss. Our sympathies, prayers and hugs are with you as you walk through this grief journey. We have many fond memories of Georgina at MBC, dinners and at the Christmas concerts at Calvary! Always welcoming and always had a kind word for everyone. We remember her laughter and love for Jesus and her family. Strangely I (Karyne) remember her hands. They always were manicured and strong. She was always making something in the kitchen at the trailer at MBC! And always welcomed us teenagers into the trailer while we waited for Cheryl to get ready! 😉She always gave a gentle touch that was reassuring with her hands! And I loved her smile. She always smiled! I never remember her scolding us! I still hear her calling my name! Cherish all those precious memories. Love you, Wyman, Mabel and Karyne Whalen. She is at rest now in the arms of Jesus.
