Gundega Dzidra Strazdins, a beloved and thoughtful mother, passed away on February 13, 2026, at the age of 99. Born on December 11, 1926, Gundega was known for her patient, honest, and compassionate nature.
Residing in Mississauga, Ontario, Gundega ended her career as a Health Care Aide, where she was admired for her dedication and care.
In her personal life, Gundega was predeceased by her son Bruno. She is survived by her son Eric and his wife Alice; as well as her cherished grandchildren Andrew, Mark, and Alison.

A private cremation has been arranged in accordance with Gundega's wishes.
