He will be greatly missed by his parents, Marilyn and Bill MacFarlane, his brother, Simon, and his nieces whom he adored, also his aunts and uncles….
Also, his family, and friends in Canada, the US and Australia.
Iain graduated with an honours in History and Canadian Studies from Trent University and a Masters in Library Science from Western.
He was also involved with the Liberal Party of Ontario and Canada and a life long science fiction fan and supported the Blue Jays.
The family wishes to thank the nurses and doctors of the Critical care unit at North York General Hospital for their care and compassion of Iain during his final days.
