

Juliana Iyirhiaro, age 66, passed away peacefully on June 30, 2026 surrounded by her beloved family. Born on July 21, 1959, in Abudu, Nigeria, she lived a life defined by a profound faith in Jehovah God. She was blessed with a quiet strength and a heart devoted to serving God and others, especially the vulnerable.
Juliana was a loving mother to Patience (Henry), Efosa, and Rose (Stephen), and a cherished grandmother to Tiersha, Xavier Erik, Kaziah, and Joss Clark.
Her greatest gift was teaching them to cherish family values and build a close relationship with Jehovah. She loved her extended family deeply. Her devotion to her spiritual family at the Kingdom Hall was just as heartfelt, and she will be missed by all of them. Those she cared for throughout her career will fondly remember her dedication.
A trained educator, both secularly and theocratically, Juliana found great fulfillment in teaching. Whether in the classroom or sharing Bible truths, she delighted in seeing her students grow. For more than 30 years, she brought that same love of teaching in her service as a dedicated full-time minister, helping countless people learn about Jehovah and His promises for the future.
She gave special attention to adults and children with special needs, approaching every opportunity to teach with patience, compassion, and genuine love. Her humility, kindness, and steadfast faith made her a source of comfort and strength to all who knew her.
Juliana also showed her love through thoughtful acts of kindness and creativity. She often made personalized gifts that brought joy to family, friends, and members of her congregation. She had a gift for making others feel valued, loved, and remembered.
The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the relatives, friends, and members of the congregation who surrounded Juliana with love, prayers, and support during her final days. They also thank the compassionate staff at Kensington Hospice for their exceptional care.
Juliana’s life was a beautiful reflection of faith, love, and selfless service. Though she is deeply missed, her legacy will continue to inspire all who knew her. Her family finds comfort in the hope of seeing her again through Jehovah’s promised resurrection.
Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street in North York, on July 10, 2026, from 4:00 pm to 8:00 pm.
Funeral Service will be held at Kingdom Hall of Jehovah's Witnesses, 16 Arrow Road in Toronto, on July 11, 2026, at 1:15 pm. Committal Service will follow at Elgin Mills Cemetery, 1591 Elgin Mills Road East in Richmond Hill.
