Cathy was the beloved daughter of the late Constantine and Marika Papazoglu and the cherish wife of the late Dimitri Hurmuz.
She was a graduate of Iokimion High School in Istanbul (Constantinople) Turkey. Cathy spent time teaching in Turkey before moving to Canada.
In Canada, she worked as an Administrator at St. George's Greek Orthodox Church, supporting the Greek Community in Toronto, building many long lasting friendships. She will be missed dearly.
Visitation will take place at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Homes, 6191 Yonge Street in North York, on September 16, 2026, at 10:30 am, followed by the Funeral Service at 11:00 am. She will be laid to rest with her husband at Pine Hills Cemetery at 625 Birchmount Road in Scarborough.
