It was sad to receive message from Helen that your mother had passed away.I worked closely with Helen in CP Hong Kong Office. We all respected and treasured your Father's advice in the Office and from time to time met your Mother who was always friendly and kind.  Learned all your siblings were with your Mother in her last moments which was a blessing she passed away peacefully. My condolence to all your family . We are very sorry and deeply saddened to hear of Mrs. Wong's passing.  We know how difficult this must be for all of you.  Our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this sad and difficult time.  
I am greatly touched that your mom waited all her children were around her before she left you.  You can take solace that fact that she passed away peacefully and is now joining your father in God's embrace.  
Your mom, Eva, was one of our dearest friends that we will all miss her very much.  We are thankful to gain a place in her heart.  Our family was very grateful to your parents, M.K. and Eva, who went out of their way helping us to find two comfortable and lovely homes in a most ideal and convenient location when we migrated to Toronto more than twenty years ago.  As your mom had said, we were her true friends.  Your parents as a couple, in addition to our most respectful superiors in CP AIR times, were also great friends to all our colleagues.  They were so kind and caring for others. 
 
Eva was always very kind, thoughtful, full of grace and loving to us that we always welcomed seeing her at every opportunity and we looked up to her with great admiration.  We treasured her friendship.    We admired Eva's talent in her clay artwork.  In fact, she was so thoughtful that she created few pieces of displays as gifts to us (one of her masterpieces is a tangerine tree) which we proudly display in a prominent place in our home. 
 
We still remember that in October 2005 when Eva had an injury in her elbow on her return from China to Hong Kong.  With a bandage supporting her elbow, she was so very kind that she came to see us sending a gift for my niece wedding celebration.  Eva's memory will always remain deep within our heart.
 
Eva lived a full life during which she touched a lot of people's lives in addition to a loving and very special mom.  I know she will live on in all her children and through all the people she has touched.

Dear May and James.  Christine and I share the great loss and pain you must have felt through the loss of your beloved mother.  We remembered your mom very well, both when I made medical visits to her, and through our work for Yee Hong.  She has always been so supportive of you and the good work that you both have been doing, for seniors in general, and Yee Hong in particular.  She has been fiercely independent and so brave that she has taken a lot of pain without complaints.  My solace is that she has been able to stay in Yee Hong for the last few years of her life, so our staff and volunteers have been able to give back whatever little we have been able to offer.  She is now resting in peace.  She has left the world, but she will not be forgotten.  We know she has lived a full life without regret, having great children and in-laws, being able to live with you and enjoy the warmth of home and closeness to the ones that she loved the most.  While we are sad to see her go, we think we should celebrate her plain but remarkable life.   Joseph and Christine
