I am so saddened to just hear about Lucy's passing.  We hadn't been in contact for number of years, but I always remember great times with her, laughing a lot! and dancing a lot! She was always a kind and caring person and I am glad to have known her and called her my friend.  My deepest heartfelt condolences to her family, Mom and sisters. May she rest in peace.  Blessings and prayers for you all.

MY sweet Lucy!! I took care of you and held you in my arms soo.....many times, it was never a burden. I was selfish, I never wanted to let you go. I could not imagine this world without you by my side. You always looked up to me in everything I did. In reality it was I who was in awe of you. I could count on you. I admired how   YOU OVERCAME YOUR TRIALS EACH AND EVERY ONE OF THEM!
My tears began September 1,2009 and have never stopped. We went to parties, concerts, the mall, movies. The last movie we viewed together was the "theory of everything". You insisted on having nachos with cheese, chocolate and a drink.  You also requested a hotdog. But I stopped you in your tracks! LOL,LOL. Every once in awhile I would look over explain what the actors were doing and to see if you were bored. Sometimes I forgot to look over and when I did, to my surprise, YOU were applauding and shouting with enthusiasm your delight and approval at the end of Stephen Hawking's speech. LUS I so laughed.  If I started to doubt your capacity, you sure showed me who was in charge.
 Lucy did you say something, I can't hear you, stop whispering.... "What day is it today"?, TODAY is the day that I set you free my sister, my love.

I met Lucy through her niece Yvette. I always remember how much fun I had being around her and all the energy she brought. She always made people feel welcome and her free spirit was so inspiring. 

Lucy - thank you for all you have shared with me and everyone around you. May you rest in eternal peace. LOVE YOU!

I met Lucy within days of meeting my wife, Karen, 35 years ago. As far apart as they were in recent years, never have I seen 2 friends so close, childhood friends. She was there when I called her to help me through my wifes tough times, and always with that smile. I (we) will miss her terribly, even just the fact that she was there. The memories are many and cheerful, never will she be forgotten by Karen, myself, or my boys. We were there when this all started over 5 years ago, wish I could be there now. All my thoughts go to her boys and the family, God Bless you all. Rest peacefully.

I am so sorry for the loss of such a beautiful, caring, loving woman.  Lucy was the type of friend that people come across once in a life time.   We spent many nights chatting on the phone while we were working or having BBQ's at the farm or coffee and watching my dogs in the yard.  She loved one of my mastiff's named Nelson.   I will truly miss her.   She is now free to be whole again.  She will always be in our hearts.  Love you Lucy!!!   Until we meet again...

The world is losing a beautiful, kindhearted, wonderful mom who loved animals and people and always had a positive outlook on life.    Lucy was a part of a very happy time in my life and I was truly blessed to have her as a friend.   She loved one of my dogs, Nelson and we would meet and have coffee and chats.  I miss her very much!!!   I am so sorry for her family and friends.  She is gone in body and is free but she will always be part of our hearts!!!  Love you and miss you!!

In the short time I knew Lucy I feel I knew her for years. She enriched my life so much I always looked forward to seeing her, and spending time with her. One thing about Lucy she was always happy and positive! I'll truly miss Lucy I loved her so much! God Bless!

Lucy and I met when we were just 9 years old.  Who knew it would be a life-long friendship.  You were my first soul mate, protector and real friend.  My heart is broken.
