Margaret had a successful career in the actuarial department at Crown Life. During that time and after retirement, she indulged her love of travel. She also had a beautiful trained soprano voice, was a soloist for church services and for public concerts. Margaret also trained very seriously as a dancer and supported the National Ballet of Canada for many years. She enjoyed playing bridge, with her condominium bridge club and at the North York Seniors’ Centre. Other favourite hobbies included knitting, at which Margaret was skilled, and reading, which was a consuming passion. She enjoyed books by many authors, and most especially by J.K. Rowling!
