It is with great sadness that we announce the peaceful passing of Marilyn Eileen Walker (née O’Brien) at the age of 82 at her residence on March 20, 2026.
Marilyn was born on June 9, 1943, in Timmins, Ontario. She was the daughter of the late Millege and Jennie O’Brien, the loving wife of Ronald, the loving mother of Michael, and the loving bonus mother of Rhonda (Karl). She was also an adoring Nana to James, Haley, and Krystal, and Great-Nana to Claire.
She was the dear sister of Keith O’Brien and was also an aunt, cousin, neighbour, and friend to many.
Quick with a smile or a kind gesture, Marilyn was always willing to help others. Her love for her family was at the heart of everything she did.
