She survived by her sons Rafael (Marikit) and Reinhard, her grandchildren, Alexander (Breckon), Alfred (Gloria), Tessa (Ryan), Kaitlyn (Alex), Cody (Jess), and Felicia (Zach) and her sic great grandchildren. She will also be missed by her sisters Melia, Mihan, and Mila.
Mercedes was predeceased by her parents Leonardo and Felicidad Apolinario, her daughter in law Colleen. and her brother.
Visitation For Mercedes will be held on Sunday June 29, 2025 at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home 6191 Yonge Street in North York from 1-5 pm. Funeral Mass will be held the following day, Monday June 30, 2025 at St. Paschal Baylon Parish 92 Steeles Avenue West in Thornhill at 9:30 am. Burial will follow the funeral service at Holy Cross Cemetery in Thornhill.
