It is with deep sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved mother, Mock-Ja Lee (née Kim), who passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 22, 2026.
Mock-Ja was a devoted mother whose life was centered around loving and caring for her two daughters, Eun-Joo Lee and Hyun-Joo Lee. Her family was her greatest priority, and she dedicated her life to ensuring that her daughters were loved and cared for. The love she gave so selflessly was a reflection of her heart, and her devotion to her family will forever be one of her greatest legacies.
She was the beloved wife of the late Joung-Man Lee, who predeceased her 16 years ago.
A woman of deep Christian faith, Mock-Ja was a devoted member of Dong San Presbyterian Church. Her faith was an important part of her life and brought her comfort and strength throughout her journey. She also had a love for music, which brought joy to her life.
Mock-Ja will be remembered above all for her unwavering devotion to her daughters and the countless ways she showed her love through caring for her family. The loss of a mother is immeasurable, and her absence will be deeply felt. Though words cannot fully express how much she meant to those who loved her, the love she gave will remain with her daughters forever.
