Norman Hill

Peacefully at Markham Stouffville Hospital, in the morning of Saturday, March 12, 2022, Norman Hill passed away at the age of 95 years. Beloved husband of Lois (nee McGuire), he will be greatly missed by his children, Robert (Cindy), David, Christine, Warren (Leanne) and Carin (Brad). Norman Hill will also be missed by his grandchildren, Amanda, Laurie (Colin), Chris (Dakota), Stephanie (Andrew), Jackie (Greg), Michelle (Harry), Phillip (Laurie), Courtney (Paul), Tara (Andre), Sean, Brianne (Kris), Garrett and his great-grandchildren, Scarlett, Stella, Maeve, Rory, Grace, Annie, Connor, Will, Tyler, Timothy, Grayson and Vanna. After immigrating to Canada from Ireland, Norman wasted no time finding success in Toronto. A natural salesman, Norman Hill founded his real estate brokerage in 1961 and proudly worked into his 93rd year. Visitation will be held at Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home, 6191 Yonge Street, North York, on Wednesday, March 16th from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m. A funeral service will be held on Thursday, March 17th at 11 a.m. in the Kane-Jerrett Chapel. Following the service, Norman will be taken to his place of rest at York Cemetery. A celebration will be held at Bayview Country Club at 25 Fairway Heights Drive, Thornhill after the burial service. Memorial donations are requested to the Markham Stouffville Hospital Foundation in the name of Norman Hill.
