Dr. P. I. Douglas Dalgleish

Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather and dedicated physician, Dr. P.I. Douglas Dalgleish passed away peacefully, surrounded by his family, at North York General Hospital on September 22, 2015. Reunited with his beloved wife Thelma (April 2015) and his son Mark (October 1985). He is survived by his loving children Kristi, Kerri (David), Holly (Paul), Margaret (John), and daughter-in-law Laurel. Loved grandfather of James, Zac (Jamie), Chad (Kaitlyn), Shayla, Kara (Taylor), Quin, Katelyn, Jaycie, Madison, Adam, Matthew, Ashley, Georgie. Cherished great-grandfather of Zoey, Hudson, Kambria, Noah and Tucker. Fondly remembered by his extended family, friends and colleagues. A very special thank you to Dr. Stan Feinberg and his surgical staff at NYGH, Dr. Leung and the Palliative Care Team at NYGH, Dr. Michael Freeman and Dr. F.K. Leung of St. Michael’s Hospital.

Visitation will be held on Thursday, September 24, 2015 from 12-2pm and 7-9pm at the Jerrett Funeral Home "North York Chapel", 6191 Yonge St. (south of Steeles). A private funeral service will take place at a later date. If desired, donations may be made to the North York General Hospital.
