Pat was the much loved and devoted daughter of the late Thomas Peters and the late Aretta Peters.
Predeceased by her brother, Wally Peters and many relatives.
Pat was born in Galt (Cambridge) on February 19, 1942.
Survived by her best friend, Pat Cooper (Xenia) and her beautiful boy, Finnegan, the best toy poodle in the world.
Pat taught in Galt as a principal’s relief and then spent over 30 years teaching in the North York Board of Education at Daystrom Public School. She taught several levels, but her favourite was grade 5 children. She loved them and they loved her back.
Pat was gifted in many areas. Excellent teacher, guitar and ukelele player, singing with her class, junior choir director, painter in oils and watercolours, poet, curler, baker (Christmas fruit cake) and pate.
Pat was a dear friend, she loved her home, Xenia, her family, her friends and her dogs. She will be very much missed.
Cremation will take place as per the family's request.
Visitation to be held at Kane-Jerrett North York Funeral Home 6191 Yonge Street, North York, ON M2M 4K4 on Thursday September 3rd from 4-8pm.
Service will take place the following day, Friday September 4th at 11am.
