We have known Rene and Marilu for over 30 years, dating back  when Rene and us were working as accountants and at the same time studied, worked hard and then obtained our accounting designations. We attended each other's graduation which was very memorable.

We formed a prayer group meeting with other friends where we got together weekly and when we got a chance the four of us would  go to a casino for shows to unwind, that we much needed. 

Rene was a devoted husband to Marilu, his family and relatives, that he loved helping including offering advises and preparing their tax returns, which was his passion and good at.

Rene, you have been our good friend, be missed and in our hearts forever.

It is not easy to lose a Parent.  Hold on to the precious memories that he has left and always remember that he will still be taking care of you and your Family from above.  You are all in our thoughts and prayers.  RIP Rene!

On behalf of myself, my family and the entire Berkley Team we are all very saddened by the loss of Rene.  He was a great man, kind, loving and a gentle soul.  I always remember his laughter and smile.  We worked many late hours together and his ability to keep us all happy is a reflection of how fantastic he was.  We shared many things and he always let me know how much he loved his family, the weekend trips and spending time with them.  He particularly mentioned how proud he was of his grandson, his sons and wife.  He will always be remembered.  Rest in peace my friend.
