

Born on October 18, 1930, Ben lived a long life spanning nearly a century. Originally from Barbados, he carried with him a connection to his roots and community throughout his life.
Ben enjoyed the simple pleasures of everyday life, particularly watching cricket in the park, a sweet treat, chatting with neighbours, and keeping up with the happenings of the community. He loved to read, appreciated a good conversation, and the familiar routines of daily life.
Ben is survived by his wife, Imelda Scott; his son Rick (wife Laurie), and daughter Kim; his grandchildren Rachel (husband Patrick), Alexandra, Jennifer, and Ryan; and his great-grandchildren, Giulia and Marco.
Ben’s life was shaped by his experiences, his Bajan roots, and the many people he encountered along the way. He will be remembered for his distinctive character and independent spirit.
He leaves behind a family spanning generations and memories that will continue to be shared.
