William (Bill) will be deeply missed by his wife of 66 years Beverley, his children Kevin and Craig (Heather), and his granddaughter Kate. He will be warmly remembered by his sister Sheila (Eric), his sister-in-law Stephanie (Steve), along with many nieces, nephews, friends and extended family members.
He was predeceased by this parents John and Catherine, and his brothers Jack and Bob (Helen).
Bill was a stationery engineer in the Healthcare sector. He volunteered for many years in Scouting at St. George Anglican on Yonge, Willowdale Softball League, and the Pickering Museum. He was passionate about golfing and spending time with family at Miner’s Bay Lodge.
The family would like to thank the many Doctors and Personal Support Workers, especially Eric and Betsy, who provided compassionate care to William.
Visitation will be held on Saturday August 10, 2024 from 10 to 11 am at the Kane-Jerrett Funeral Home 6191 Yonge Street in North York. Funeral Service will follow at 11 am. Burial will take place at York Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made to the Canadian Cancer Society or OSPCA.
