Graveside services for Billy C. Copeland, 78, of Tyler are scheduled for 1:00 p.m., Saturday, September 22, 2012 at Lake Chapel Cemetery in Fairfield with Dr. Darryle Dunks officiating under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mr. Copeland passed away on Tuesday, September 18, 2012 in Tyler.
He was born on June 19, 1934 in Levelland to the late Charles Harold and Beatrice Humphries Copeland. He proudly served in the U. S. Navy and was a member of Green Acres Baptist Church. He loved to fish and work in his yard and was the “Mr. Fix It”. Another pleasure for him was watching the birds and squirrels.
He is survived by his wife, Neva; daughter, Faith McKinney; sons, David Copeland and Kenneth Copeland and wife, Debra; step-daughters, Cindy Wojnar and Melissa Raycraft; sister, Annice Durrett, 1 granddaughter, 6 grandsons and 1great granddaughter.
The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
