Services for Darlene Joy Barnett, 79, of Tyler are scheduled for 1:30 p.m., Thursday, December15, 2011 at Lloyd James Funeral Chapel with Rev. Bill Hamilton officiating. Burial is in Pine Springs Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Barnett passed away on Saturday, December 10, 2011 in Tyler.
She was born on July 14, 1932 in Mead, Kansas to the late Abe and Nita Witt Toews. She was a member of Pine Springs Baptist Church, a retired registered nurse and had lived in Tyler for 50 years.
She was preceded in death by a son, James Barnett and a daughter Mary Beth Lemen.
She is survived by her daughter, Meladee Vasquez of Tyler, son, Richard Lemen and wife Brenda of Tyler; brother, Michael Hoefer of Fortworth; grandchildren, Josh Lemen, Jessica Ortiz, Mike Vasquez, David Barnett and Joy Nell Barnett; great grandchildren, Aiden Vasquez, Jason Adams and Rylee Barnett
The family will receive friends from 6-8 p.m., Wednesday at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
