Diane graduated high school in Monahans, Texas then attended Odessa College in Odessa, Texas. She was a loving mother and wife and was a friend to many. She was a cherished member of the Noonday United Methodist Church, leaving behind a legacy of Love and Kindness. Diane’s heart was her Super-Power and was felt by all. From her dearest friends to her church, she was always there with a positive word. She enjoyed cooking and baking with her grandchildren and most of all connecting daily with friends and family.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, E J “Tommy” Thomas, whom were married May 9, 1980, and by a son, William Melton. Survivors include a daughter, Anne Sanders and husband Willie of Houston; son, Allen Melton of Houston; Grandchildren, Josh Melton, K C Melton and spouse, Markie, Lacy Melton Boone and Spouse, Clay, Scarlett Melton, Penelope Melton and Dutch Melton; great-grandchildren, Aubrey Wilkins, Kerina Crouch, Jaycie Wilkins, Kloey Melton, William Melton and Harley Melton. She is also survived by a sister, Marilyn Andjulis and spouse Don and by a nephew, Todd Andjulis.
A Graveside service is scheduled for 10:00 a.m. Wednesday, May 22, 2024 at Cathedral in the Pines Cemetery with Rev. Sunny Farley officiating, under direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
