

Services for Doris Ann Ruddell Wilder, 82, of Tyler are scheduled for 1:30 P.M., Tuesday, March 8, 2011 at Glenwood Church of Christ with James Fite officiating. Burial is at Cathedral in the Pines under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Wilder passed away on Friday, March 4, 2011 in Tyler.
Mrs. Wilder was born on October 30, 1928 in Pottsboro to the late Henry L. and Alma Ruddell. She was voted captain of the basketball team at Willowsprings School, was a cheerleader and voted most popular and most friendly at Denison High School. She worked for the Junior League at the University of Houston when she was first married. Mrs. Wilder was a member of Glenwood Church of Christ, and East Texas Petroleum Wives Auxiliary. She donated her time to Meals on Wheels. She was well loved by many people including Damaris Moore, Katrinia Reid , Linda Howell and Mary Jarvis.
Mrs. Wilder is survived by her husband of 61 years Bruce Wilder, children, Connie Wilder Sellars and husband, Mike and Steve Wilder and wife, Jeri; grandchildren, Sjon Sellars, Denise Hurst and husband, Michael, and Avery Wilder; great grandchildren, Kaitlynn Sellars, Sjon Michael Sellars, Connor Sellars, Gage Hurst, Drake Hurst; nieces and nephews, Bobby Ruddell and wife, Judy, Johnny Ruddell and wife, Elise, Joan Sibbett, Byron Hatfield and wife, DeAnn, Beverly Seale and Marilyn Galano and husband, Bob and cousin, Patsy Gloor and husband, Dick.
Pallbearers are Johnny Ruddell, Bobby Ruddell, Byron Hatfield, Sjon Sellars, Michael Hurst, Jim McClure .
Visitation will be from 5-7:00 p.m., Monday at the funeral home.
