at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will be at Bascom Cemetery in Chapel Hill.
He was born June 17, 1942 in Tyler to the late H.B. and Carrie Boone. He had worked for Chapel Hill ISD for more than 30 years.
He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Herbert Boone.
Mr. Boone is survived by wife Clara A. Boone of Tyler and children, Rhonda and James Daggs of Fort Worth, Ricky Boone of Tyler and Robby and Trish Boone of Tyler, Grandchildren, Amber and Jason Smith of Longview, Blake Gee of Fort Worth, Sgt. Kyle and Laura Gee of Fort Riley, KS., Brock Boone of Tyler, Shelby Silas , Meghan Boone, Derian Boone all of San Antonio, James Daggs and Timothy Daggs of Choctaw, OK as well as six great grand children.
The family will receive friends from 6pm until 8 pm Tuesday at the funeral home.
