Glenn Eudell Roberts

Mr. Glenn Eudell Roberts ( “Jack”), 90, of Van Tx, passed from this life on April 14, 2026 at his home in Tyler, Tx. Born October 11, 1935, Glenn lived in Tyler, Texas.

He is survived by his wife, Della of 56 years, brother, Bill, Sister, Patsy, 9 children, 15 grandchildren, and 14 great grandchildren.

Glen was a veteran of the Korean War, where he served in the Navy as a cook for four years. He loved telling stories about his travels all over the world during his service. After the Navy, Glenn took pride in his trade as an electrician. He loved to tell about working on offshore oil rigs, schools, and many of the buildings in Tyler. He loved fishing, gardening, his peach trees, and all of his hats. He was always cooking breakfast for everyone who stayed with him and would not let anyone leave without trying to slip them a little money to help them out. He woke every morning with something he needed to accomplish that day, even if it was just trying to mow the lawn at 86 years old! By far, his favorite activities were with his grandchildren, whether it was teaching them to garden, teaching them to shoot a B.B. gun, picking blackberries, or just sitting on the front porch with them. He is an irreplaceable part of our family and we will miss him.
