Gloria Jean Rhame

Gloria was born July 17, 1947, in Tyler to Oren Kenneth Golden and Annie Marguerite Boulter Golden. She was a graduate of Waskom High School and continued her education at Federal Institute of Business in Tyler. She was a homemaker and a bookkeeper for several businesses including ETMC and Bracken oil.

She is preceded in death by her husband Scott and her parents.

Gloria is survived by her daughter Denise Carpenter and husband Corey in Waxahachie, son Steven Rhame of Arp, and son Christopher Rhame and wife Shay of Tyler. She is also survived by 9 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren, and siblings Ken Golden and wife Sudie of Ashdown, Arkansas and Anne Ortigo of Carthage. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held Friday March 27 from 5:00 to 7:00 pm at Lloyd James funeral home in Tyler. Graveside services will be held at 1:00 pm Saturday March 28 at Williams cemetery in Chapel Hill with Reverend Ken Golden officiating.
