

Funeral services for Hannah Marie Kirkpatrick are scheduled for 10:00 A.M., Monday, September 14, 2015, at Lloyd James Funeral Home Chapel with Dr. Paul Powell officiating. Interment will be in Flint Cemetery.
The family will receive friends and loved ones at the funeral home from 3 to 5 P.M. on Sunday.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick went to be with her Lord and Savior on September 9, 2015, in Tyler.
She was born on October 15, 1922 in Gilmer to the late Joseph and Clyda Blundell and moved with her family when she was five years of age to the Teaselville area where she grew up in the old Loftin place.
Mrs. Kirkpatrick graduated from Bullard High School and Tyler Federal Business Institute. She worked as a secretary for Fidelity Life Insurance Company and married Marvin Kirkpatrick in 1941. She lived in the Bullard area most of her life.
She was a member of County Line Baptist Church where she taught a Sunday school class for many years. She was a housewife, loved flowers, gardening, crocheting, and quilting. She loved little children and her animal pets.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Marvin Kirkpatrick, in 2000; infant sister, Edith Lorene and sister, Sarah Mavis Oliver; brothers, Carl Blundell and Joe Mitt Blundell. She was also preceded in death by one niece and six nephews.
She is survived by her sister, Mary Morris-Uyechi; sister-in-law, Bonnie Duran; and many nieces, nephews and friends. She is also survived by her chihuahua, Minnie Pearl.
Pallbearers will be Randy Hurst, Robert Earl Williams, Jimmy Rozell, Charles Dupree, Larry Oliver and Jackie Crim.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Meals on Wheels, 3001 Robertson Road, Tyler, Texas 75701.
