Jane Delores Folsom passed away on May 7, 2026, surrounded by the love of her family, leaving behind a legacy of laughter, strength, and unwavering devotion. Born in Lincoln Valley, North Dakota, Jane was raised in a humble one-bedroom home alongside her eight brothers and sisters, where she learned the value of family, resilience, and hard work.
While visiting her aunt and uncle in California, Jane met the love of her life, Gene Folsom, who was serving in the military at the time. Their love story became the foundation of a life centered around family, commitment, and cherished memories.
Jane’s greatest joy in life was being a mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother. She was the kind of woman who would drop everything to help her children, always putting family first. She absolutely adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, each of whom held a special place in her heart. Affectionately known by many as “Grandma with the White Hair,” Jane had a personality as unforgettable as her nickname. She was known for telling the funniest jokes, bringing laughter wherever she went, and never being afraid to speak her mind. She loved roosters, vibrant colors, and lived life with a bold spirit that made her unforgettable.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Herbert and Helen Rothacker; her siblings, Marvey Rothacker, Floyd Rothacker, Fern Garcia, Roger Rothacker, Wesley Rothacker, and Delores Minehart; her son and daughter-in-law, Royce and Jenny Folsom; and her beloved great grandsons, Ayden Burran and Cole Singleton.
Jane is lovingly survived by her siblings, Willie Rothacker and Mary Lou Curry; her daughters, Diana Busby and Rhonda Dumas and husband Tim Dumas; her cherished grandchildren, Shauna, Courtney, Ricky, Brandon, Whitney, Brittney, and Lauren; and 13 great-grandchildren, who will carry her memory forward.
Jane’s life was filled with love, laughter, and fierce devotion to her family. Her humor, honesty, colorful spirit, and the love she so freely gave will be deeply missed by all who knew and loved her.
Pallbearers will be Kace Williams, Chris Williams, Hunter Burran, Brayden Tito, Brandon Folsom and Ricky Combs. Honorary pallbearers are Preston Folsom, Christopher Folsom and Nolan Burran.
A time of Visitation and Gathering will begin at 10:00 am on Thursday, May 14, 2026 in the Chapel of Lloyd James Funeral Home with services beginning at 11:00 a.m. with Daniel Dupree officiating. She will be laid to rest at Whitehouse Cemetery.
