Joyce Ann Scott Burnett, 68, passed away, happy and beautiful as the wonderful and sweet woman she was, on June 25, 2013. Joyce Ann was born February 12, 1945 in Dallas. Joyce Ann was happily married to her loving husband, Phillip Mike Burnett for 50 years. He preceded her in death on November 25, 2012. She was also preceded in death by her parents, Joy Sinclair Leon Scott and A. T. Moore and her two angels, her sons Michael Troy Burnett and Gregory Scott Burnett.
She is lovingly survived by her grandchildren; Calvin Burnett and wife Jamie Burnett, Christina Burnett and husband Ognjen Vukovic and Trevor Burnett; great grandchildren, Caleb Burnett, Emilija and Elliana Vukovic and cousins, Diane and Charlie Grimes and Glen Causey.
Services will be held at 2 p.m., Saturday, June 29, 2013 at Lloyd James Funeral Home, 1011 East First St. in Tyler. Burial is in Cathedral in the Pines. The family will receive friends from 5-7 p.m., Friday at the funeral home.
