Laura Lee Rocco

Born: September 17, 1956 – Died: January 6, 2025

Laura was a successful business owner of a medical billing service. She also previously managed a physical therapy office and drove school buses to provide for her family. Laura was a devoted mother and grandmother to her own family and to those she “adopted”. Encouragement was a spiritual gift of hers that she loved to give out to everyone she met. Laura loved working with young adults and pouring into many of their lives. She covered her friends and family in prayer everyday.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Sam Rocco II, father, Herb Smith, and mother, Maxine Smith. She is survived by her sons Clinton Rocco and wife Tonya of Tyler and Jody Rocco and wife Mandy of Abilene, seven grandchildren: Keanna, Paige, Sean, Samantha, Rachel, Brooke, Annalyse; her brother, Blaine Smith and wife Debbie; and several nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life service will be held on February 15, 2025 starting at 11:00 am at Colonial Hills Baptist Church 7330 S Broadway Ave, Tyler, Tx 75703. There will be a reception to follow until 2:00 pm.
