Maragret E Scoby

Margaret Scoby left this earth for her heavenly home on Sunday, October 2, 2011 at the age of 83. She was born in Amarillo, Texas on September 2, 1928 to the late Elmer Lee Parker and Zella Braddock Parker. A Tylerite since 1967, Margaret retired from The University of Texas Health Science Center in Tyler in 1993 after 20 years of dedicated service. She was a faithful member of the Shiloh Rd. Church of Christ for over 30 years.

Margaret was preceded in death by her parents, son David Mark Scoby, and brother Richard Parker.

She is survived by her daughter Rhonda Scoby of Tyler.

A special prayer of thanksgiving is offered for the gentle and loving women who held her hand on her journey with dementia: long-time and precious friend Ruby Banks, Cindy Reeve-McClanahan, Pat Allen, Martha Edge, and Sandra Dyess.
