Martha Ann (Kintz) Brown passed away on June 9th 2021, in Tyler, TX at the age of 63. She was born on May 15th, 1958 in Whittier, California. She graduated from La Serna High School in 1976. She went to Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and met her husband, Alan Brown, in nearby Idaho Falls on August 9th, 1978. They eloped on October 4th of the same year. On their 24th anniversary of marriage, they were sealed for time and all eternity in the Dallas, Texas temple of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints. Martha was a stay at home mom and devoted her time to caring for her children, serving in her church callings and babysitting other’s children in her home.
Martha enjoyed meeting with church friends to create crafts such as scrapbooks and holiday cards. She was a member of the Girl Scouts of America as a child and served as an adult leader with her daughters for almost 30 years. She read romance novels and every new book of her two favorite authors Danielle Steele and Sandra Brown. Martha enjoyed classic TV shows such as I Love Lucy and Leave It To Beaver and has probably seen every Lifetime and Hallmark movie ever made.
Martha is survived by her husband Alan Brown and her four children April Lee (Brown) Clary, Adam Alan Brown, Anna Pella (Brown) Finnerty and Amy Elizabeth Brown. April’s spouse Joey and their children, Zhane, Guy, Zhana, Jessi and Peyton. Adam’s children, Kaleb, Sadie and Benjamin. Anna’s spouse Luke and their children, Faith, Olivia and Adeline. Her father Garry Kintz, her sister Laura and her husband Mike Crays, her brother Clif, her brother Lyle and his wife Pam and her sister Gail. Numerous nieces, nephews, cousins and other family members whom Martha seemed to be able to keep in touch with and loved so much. Martha was preceded in death by her loving mother Darlene Kintz.
There will be a viewing for Martha on June 16th, 2021 from 6-8 pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler, TX. Her memorial service will be held June 17th, 2021 from 10-11 am at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints North Broadway location. Following the memorial service, Martha will be interred at Cathedral in The Pines Cemetery in Tyler, Texas on June 17th, 2021.
