Services for Mildred “Memaw” Daughtry, 83, of Tyler, are scheduled for 10:30 A.M., Tuesday, June 29, 2010 at Lloyd James Funeral Home chapel with Rev. David Smith officiating. Burial is at Rose Hill Cemetery.
Mildred died Saturday morning in a local hospice after a short illness.
She lived in Tyler since 1955 and was retired and a member of Fellowship Baptist Church where she taught the adult Sunday school class.
Survivors include six children; three sons, Ferrell and wife Harriet, Roger and wife Iris and Norvle and wife Debbie; three daughters, Glenda Jackson, Brenda Pope and Linda Farrell and husband Dennis all of Tyler; 13 grandchildren, 21 great grandchildren and one great-great grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Daughtry and three grandchildren and three great grandchildren and a sister, Ruby Wood Taylor.
Paulbearers are Bo Daughtry, Todd Daughtry, Scotty Gilliam, Chris Daughtry, Stac Godsey and Bart England.
The family will receive friends from 6-8:00 P.M. on Monday at the funeral home.
