Norman Jackson

Born on November 12, 1942, to Essie and William Jackson, Norman grew up with a strong sense of family and faith. He was the beloved brother of Patricia Wright and later became a loving husband to Vicki Jackson, as well as a proud father to Jerral Jackson and Jeffrey Jackson. He is survived by his wife, Vicki, son, Jeffrey, Jeff’s spouse, Tony, as well as his sister, Patricia Wright, who will carry forward his legacy of integrity, kindness, and perseverance.

Norman dedicated over four decades of his professional life to Allstate Insurance Company, where he served as a leading sales manager. His excellence in leadership and commitment to service earned him the prestigious title of Key Manager more than 35 times—a testament to his unwavering work ethic and ability to inspire those around him.

Beyond his career, Norman was a pillar of his community. As a Deacon of South Spring Baptist Church, he led with humility and compassion, offering spiritual guidance and support to countless individuals. His presence was equally cherished in the Eagles Bluff community in Bullard, Texas, where he was known for his warmth, generosity, and active involvement in neighborhood life. Norman and Vicki loved to travel and visited over twenty countries.

Norman’s life was marked by deep faith, enduring love, and a steadfast dedication to others. He will be remembered not only for his professional achievements but for the quiet strength and grace with which he lived each day.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, October 8, 2025, at Lloyd James Funeral Home in Tyler, Texas, to celebrate the life and legacy of Norman. The family will gather to receive friends prior to the service from 10-11 a.m. Flowers can be arranged through The Flower Box in Tyler, TX.
