

Graveside Services for Patricia Browning Prince, 92, of Tyler are scheduled for 11:00 a.m., Saturday, January 28, 2017 at Tyler Memorial Park Cemetery with Rev. Mike Ford officiating. A visitation is scheduled for Friday, January 27, 2017, 6-8 p.m. at Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Patricia passed away on Wednesday, January 25, 2017, at her home in Tyler.
She was born on November 4, 1924 in Winona to the late Dr. James and Nellie Browning.
During WWII, she worked as a welder in the Beaumont shipyards. She was an original “Rosie the Riveter.”
She enjoyed reading, doing crossword puzzles, gardening, and loved feeding and watching songbirds.
She is survived by her children, Linda Pesnell and her husband Dr. James Pesnell of Tyler, Brenda Lawrence of Tyler, Terri Sharman and her husband Phil Sharman of Tyler, grandchildren Scott Lawrence and family, Eric Lawrence and family, Chris Pesnell and family, Whitney Sharman, four great grandchildren, and seven great- great grandchildren.
In addition to her parents, Patricia was preceded in death by her husband of 32 years, Joe R. Prince.
