Funeral services for Rita Mae Green, 80, of New Chapel Hill, will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012, at Lloyd James Funeral Home with Bro. Sherman Mayfield officiating, with burial in Bascom Cemetery.
Mrs. Green was born on Sept. 17, 1932, in Thomaston to George Henry Fred and Annie Kuck Bunjes, and passed away Dec. 2, 2012, in Tyler. She was a homemaker and a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church.
She is survived by her husband of 61 years, Carl Frank Green, of New Chapel Hill; son, Mark Green and wife Julia, of Houston; daughter, Debra Green Barkley and husband Benny, of Point, La.; son, Bruce Green and wife Hollie, of New Chapel Hill; four grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Mrs. Green lived a full life and was much loved, she will be greatly missed. Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home.
