A Mass of Christian burial for Sarah Colleen Breedlove, 87, of Tyler will be at 10:00am, Friday, May 13, 2016 at Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception with Father Hank Lanik and Father Gus Tharappel officiating. Burial will follow in Rose Hill Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mrs. Breedlove passed away on Monday, May 9, 2016 in Tyler.
She was born on August 13, 1928 in San Diego, California to the late Harold and Sarah Ann Phipps Raver. She was a devoted member of the Cathedral of the Immaculate Conception, the Catholic Daughters and served on the Altar Society.
She is survived by her daughters Sharon Meikle Millen, Michelle Breedlove Lavin and Julie Breedlove Jones; sons, David Allen Meikle, Michael Allen Breedlove and Evan Allen Breedlove; 16 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Evan Breedlove, Bruce Bain, Steve Lavin, Grayson Lavin, Steve Hudnall and David Millen.
The family will receive friends from 5:00-7:00pm and a rosary will follow at 7:00pm at Lloyd James Funeral Home
