Steven Kimble

Steven Lee Kimble (Steve) of Bullard, TX passed away at home on Friday, May 27, 2022 at the age of 75. He was born on September 17, 1946 in Mason City, Iowa, but he grew up in Midland, TX from the age of seven.

He worked in Computer Operations at Trane for 17 years and various other locations prior to that. He loved fishing, skeet shooting, and bird hunting. He enjoyed traveling, especially on his CanAm Spyder.

He is preceded in death by his father, Charles Kimble; mother, Vera Kimble; and older sister, Joyce Kimble.

He is survived by his wife, Pam Kimble; his brothers, Dallas Kimble and Monte Kimble; his sisters, Carolyn Williams and Mary Jo Webb; his children, Martha Whitaker and (Bill), Paula Poole and (Chad), and Chris Kimble; his step daughters, Michelle Saldivar and (Paul), Tina Taylor and "Lee", and five grandchildren and four great grandchildren.

The family would like to thank all of the doctors, nurses, care givers, and Hospice staff for the care and compassion they showed our loved one throughout the years and in his final days.

Family and friends are invited to attend a “Celebration of Life” at Lloyd James Funeral Home on Thursday, June 2, 2022 at 1pm. Visitation with the family will be on Wednesday, June 1, 2022 from 5-7pm. His final resting place will be at Cathedral in the Pines Memorial Garden.
