

Services for William M. “Bill” Brown, 75, of Tyler are scheduled for Thursday, December 9, 2010at 1:30 P.M. at Fairwood United Methodist Church. Burial will be in Cathedral InThe Pines Cemetery under the direction of Lloyd James Funeral Home.
Mr. Brown passed away on Monday, December 6, 2010 in Tyler.
He was a member of Fairwood United Methodist Church, where he was a member of the Choir. Bill was a former member Brick Street Playhouse and the Lions Club. He was a High School Little All American where he was recently inducted into the Artesia New Mexcio High School Wall of Fame. He served his country as a U. S. Marine.
He was born on January 3, 1935 in Palestine, Texas James H. and Ethel Williams Brown.
He was preceded in death by his son John Christopher Brown and his parents James H. and Ethel Brown.
He is survived by his wife Suzanne Brown, Tyler, Son and daughter-in-law Niel and Angie Brown of Murphy, Texas, daughters and sons in law Frances Cryer and Husband James of Tyler, Holly West and husband David of Atlanta, Georgia, daughter in law Teri Brown Snyder, brothers James H. “Buster” and wife Deana Brown, and Bob Brown both of San Antonia, grandchildren Peggy Brown Marshall, Jory Brown, Kaitlynn Ware, Haley, Morgan, Abbey and Mason Brown and Christian West.
Pallbearers are Riley Standifer, Dean DeChiro, Mike Tipton, Buddy Story, Tommy Butler, Kenneth Youngblood, Joe Burgess and Arthur Cox.

Bill was a loving devoted husband, Dad, Granddaddy and loved by all who met him. He truly loved his 24 years at Sam's greeting his friends at the door especially the kids with his famous Donald Duck voice.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6:00 – 8:00 P.M. at the funeral home.
