Antonios Avramidis was a loving husband, father and grandfather who was born in Athens Greece, during the Depression, on July 17, 1933. The only son of George and Julie Avramidis; he served as an Officer in the Greek Army, spoke 7 languages, was accepted in the Top University in Athens and placed 2nd Nationally for Greco/Roman Wrestling. He migrated to the United States in 1967 and lived in New Jersey with his wife Eleftheria and 5 children: George, Julie, Helen, Betsy and Manoli. He survived a double stroke in 1982 and lived to enjoy his 9 grandchildren: Antonios, Theodora, Andre, Alex, Anthony, Christopher, George, Callie and Ellie. He loved his country, his family and Atlantic City. He died peacefully at the age of 88, on November 19, 2021 and will be remembered by his family and friends as a man of honesty, integrity and perseverance. He will be missed by all that knew him.
