Barbara Dorner entered eternal life on January 21, 2009. Born and raised in New York City, she lived in Union City for 15 years prior to her death in North Bergen. Barbara was an executive secretary for the Executive Office of New York State in New York City for over 10 years before retiring.
She was predeceased by her husband John Dorner and children Leslie D Newland and Sharon D Newland. She is the beloved mother of; Patricia L Newland, Bruce E newland, Donna L Newland and Cynthia D Mondesir. The dear sister of Josephine Gerald and Bernice Mahai as well as the loving grandmother of 11 grand and 10 great grandchildren. She is also the dear aunt of many nieces and nephews.
The funeral will be on Friday 1/23/09 at 9:30am at the Leber Funeral Home with the interment to follow at Rosedale Cemetery in Linden, NJ. Arrangements under the direction of Leber Funeral Home in Union City, NJ.
