He was born in New York, NY. Bernard served the country during the Korean war. Bernard was a longshoreman for many years before retiring.
Bernard was the beloved husband of the late Margaret Gallagher , devoted Father of Carrie Francis Herrera, Bernard J. Gallagher, Matthew J. Gallagher and Craig M. Gallagher. Father in law of Linda Gallagher, Tobey Gallagher, Dolores Gallagher and Marco Herrera. Survived by dear sister Florence Serino . Also a loving grandfather of 11 Grand Children and one great grandchild.
The funeral service will be on Wednesday , 4/4/12 with the interment of cremains at Weehawken Cemetery time 12 PM . The family will receive friends on Tuesday from 12 ~ 3 pm.
