I knew you and your brother when we were kids. Played basketball against you. Even though we lost contact for many years when we met again it was like old times. I enjoyed your sly sense of humor as we shared jokes and stories of all the crazy times and people we knew. I am sorry to hear of your passing, you were one special and interesting person to know. To my oldest brother Eddie !! I was not only your baby sister was the only girl in a houseful of 5 boys..I was a peanut I wanted to do whatever the boys did !! 😊 we had some crazy vacation .. my most special memory  is when you walked me down the aisle on wedding day..🥰  ..You were agreat influence  on my3  boys(nephews  )they have great memories of all the times they had with you at the firehouse and the fire events.
  I could go on and on ... but am so heartbroken  I will miss you 😥  love you

Don’t really know where to begin as I have been heartbroken 😭 since I heard the news all I can say is thank you for all the great memories Kelly and I have with you !! You truly are my superhero forever and always 😘 love your first born niece Colleen 

Great man. Terrific Leader. Most Amazing Uncle. Will forever cherish memories of roller skating, making applesauce pancakes and going to the movies together. Will truly miss his quick wit and encouragement to do the right thing and to be the best you can be. Love you Uncle Eddie!

I went to Study Group, Inc. for the first time I took the civil service test.  Chief Flood was a great instructor, very helpful and took the time to explain the test in detail, as well as give strategies for getting a good score.  We lost a wealth of knowledge with his passing.  Rest in peace, Chief, and hopefully we will meet again on the top floor.

I had the honor of working with cheif eddie flood for many of years on the weehawken fire dept. He was a great fire fighter a terrific leader and a great friend. May Eddie RestIn Peace. To the family my wife and i are so sorry for the loss ,

Chief Flood was an inspiration to the Fire Service! His commitment and dedication to educating all is unsurpassed.  His leadership, knowledge, dedication and commitment to the fire service will greatly be missed.  Our thoughts and prayers are with his family and friends.
