Emigdio Reyes

Emigdio REYES, age 83, of Hackensack, New Jersey passed away on Tuesday, February 1, 2022. Emigdio was born August 5, 1938 in Cuba,he immigrated to the US in 1962 and resided in New York before becoming a 55+year resident of Hackensack, NJ. Emigdio worked as a Plant Manager for the Polycast Technology Corporation.

An avid softball player, Emigdio organized various Latino softball leagues in the tri-state area and played softball for over 25 years. He was a philanthropist and contributed to various charities. A lifelong animal lover. Emigdio had a generous nature, charismatic smile and tremendous sense of humor. He was always ready to assist anyone in need.

A loving husband, beloved father, uncle and grandfather, he is survived by his spouse of 59 years, 3 children, 2 grandchildren and various nieces and nephews.

A visitation for Emigdio will be held Sunday, February 6, 2022 from 1:00 PM to 5:00 PM at Leber Funeral Home, 2000 Kennedy Blvd, Union City, NJ 07087, followed by a funeral service from 3:00 PM to 4:00 PM.
