Mr. Jack D. Cherubini died on June 27, 2009. He was born in White Plains and moved to Union City at a young age where he lived for the rest of life. After serving in the US Army during World War II, he returned home and went to work for Union City, serving in the Building Department for nearly 30 years, retiring in 1982 as Chief Building Inspector. Active in community affairs, he was past president of the Columbus Democratic Club and the Union City Regular Democratic Club.
He is the Beloved husband of Olga Cherubini and a devoted father and grandfather. He is also the dear brother of Mary Mattarazzo and the late Mario.
The funeral will be on Wednesday 7/1/2009 at 10am with a private cremation to follow.
